Intervention activities

The following are the interventions, under the five key objectives of the CFT Project as per the CFT Guidelines issued by the MoRD, that will be rolled out in the areas of operation

I. Demand Generation and Registration
(List each activity proposed by the CSO to ensure mobilization of demand for work under MGNREGA in the project areas.

Suggested Activity

· Campaign for work demand generation through various mobilization drives viz cultural programme, wall painting, IEC material etc

· Village /Hamlet level meeting to aware and sharing the concept of CFT-MNERGA-NRLM convergence and generate demand for work

· Organize the events like Rojgar diwas mela,Kisan mela etc

· Opening the bank account in Bhamashah yojna etc

· Building the cadre of CRPs along with MNERGA facilitation team in village

Role of CSO

· Facilitate to organizing the campaign for work demand generation programme/meeting

· Facilitate to organize gramsabha/hamlet level meeting/rojgar mela/kisan mela etc.

· Facilitate the CBOs/PRI/GP to opening accounts in bank.

· Play a vital role in creation of CRPS in villages.

Role of Implementing Authority

· Support the CFT for rapport building and organizing awareness campaign/gram sabha/hamlet level meeting etc.

· Provide allocation of budget for organize such programme/meeting/gramsabha under his action plan

· Timely flow of fund for the programme/events/gramsabha/meeting/training etc.

· Support the CFT for opening of account.

II. Participatory Planning Exercise
(List each activity proposed by the CSO to conduct a planning exercise for selection of NREGA works in the Gram Sabha in the project areas)

Suggested Activity

· Prepared the compressive village development plan(CVDP) through IPP(Integrated participatory planning method

· Resource mapping

· Social mapping

· Transect walk

· Seasonal mapping

· Focus group discussion

· Prepared the livelihood plan (LP) for GPs as per the available resources.

· Including the sustainable livelihood created activities i.e horticulture, development,

· Advance agricultural practices,

· Livestock development

· Waste land development

· Tree based farming

Role of CSO

· Faciliate to organize gramsabha/village or hamlet level meeting for preparation of CVDP/LP throught IPP method.

· Make effort to include sustaible livelihood activities like Horticulture development,improved agricultural practices,Livestock development in the action plan along with the physical works.

Role of Implementing Authority

· Support CFT to organize gramsabha/village or hamlet level meeting for preparation of CVDP/LP throught IPP method.

· PFTs of RRLM support the CFT in preparation of Livelihood plan

· Provide allocation of budget for organize such programme/meeting/gramsabha under his action plan

· Timely flow of fund for the programme/events/gramsabha/meeting/training etc.

III. Capacity Building
(List each activity proposed by the CSO to build the capacities of NREGA implementation functionaries, PRI representatives, SHGs, community members etc)

Suggested Activity

· Capacity building training/workshop for mates/frontline functionaries of MGNREGA/PRIs representative/CBOs members/CRPs

· Onsite technical training for mate/JTA and other technical staff of panchayat for effective execution of work,filling of measurement book, preparation of design&estimate of work etc.

· Exposure visit of cross learning within the state or outside the state.

Role of CSO

· Facilitate to organize such workshop/training/exposure visit with qualified technical resources persons.

Role of Implementing Authority

· Support CFT to organize such workshop/training/on-site training/exposure visit

· Ensure the adequate participation of the trainees in the workshop/training/exposure visit

· Provide allocation of budget for organize such programme/meeting/gramsabha under his action plan

· Timely flow of fund for the programme/events/gramsabha/meeting/training etc.

Associated timeline for completion

Total five modules will be developed and first three modules will be completed in first year after entry at each Gram panchayat

IV. Timely Measurement of Works
(List each activity proposed by the CSO to ensure that works going on/completed in the areas of operation are measured within the number of days as mandated in the Law)

Suggested Activity

· Capacity building training/on-site technical training of Mate/JTA/Rojgar sayak etc for streamlining the measurement and implementation process/ labour management, effective execution of work ,daily measurement book,e-muster roll etc.

· Capacity building of CBOs/CRPs to monitor the mate work.

· Regular Fallow up of the process

Role of CSO

· Facilitate to organize such workshops/training for streamlining the measurement and implementation process to ensure timely measurement of the works.

· Regular fallow up with Mate/rozgar sayak/JTA/J.en etc.

Role of Implementing Authority

· Ensure that all selected panchayat/block have adequate MNREGA staffs

· Ensure that Mate/JTA/Rozgar sayak/other supporting staffs of MNREGA help the CFT team.

· Ensure that Jen/JTA timely verified the measurement and update the MB regularly.

Associated timeline for completion

Training module will be completed before physical works at each Gram panchayat as per schedule.

Module will be completed within two years of inception at GP

Follow up will be ensure as per activity calendar

V. Timely Payment of Wages
(List each activity proposed by the CSO to ensure that NREGA wages are paid to all workers working on MGNREGA in the areas of operation within 15 days of them completing work)

Suggested Activity

· Capacity building training of Mate/JTA/Rojgar sayak /MIS operator etc for streamlining payment process
